Everyone loves a good sale. Today I'm sharing my favorite sales from my favorite retailers and Etsy Shops that I personally buy from and have myself.
Lilly Pulitzer has hit the proverbial jackpot with their resort collection. I personally bought a few items that I'm loving and wanted to share them with you all. I recently bought this soft and cozy pullover; I sized up a few sizes for an oversized look and so that I could layer it. It has the Lilly applique on the front in the print "Bermudaful." I plan on styling this sweater with a puffer vest and boots for a fun trip we have planned. The best part of this sweater is that it's under $100.

Hi Friends, thank you for stopping by. First and foremost, I want to say that I know that it is expected and cliche to talk about Thankfulness when Thanksgiving is less than a week away. But, I truly want to express my extreme gratitude to my Heavenly Father for his abundance of blessings on my life. If you have been following along with my little blog you might remember my blogpost talking about my 2019 word of the year "Grateful." I'll link the original post here for you to read if you missed it. I am truly Thankful for my Family- my precious Nephew just fills my heart with warmth and happiness. My mama who is so supportive and my fun sister and brother in law. I'm Thankful for my Career, the Owners of the company and the people who make it run smoothly. I'm so very Thankful for my house which came to me in a time of contentment and at a time when I was abundantly grateful for the moment that I was in at the time. I feel that true thanksgiving and contentment produces an abundance of blessings in so many ways. Believe me- my life is evidence of it. My heart is forever Thankful and I can't express it enough! There are so many things I am Thankful for that I can't begin to list them all. I'm so Thankful for you all as well, for your kindness and support for my little blog. So in closing of this blogpost; I want to leave two Bible verses for you to think on and it will make your heart Thankful to know a Savior who can do so much beyond what we can imagine.

I have styled this black sweater dress before when the weather was warmer. Now I want to share how I styled it for the cooler weather we are experiencing. I grabbed my Tory Burch riding boots, warm tights, and my J. Crew lodge coat and layered it with this cute and versatile dress. I link everything or similar ones if anything is sold out. This outfit would make a great Thanksgiving dinner outfit. Also, can you believe Thanksgiving is only a week away!!!!! The dress is linked here. The similar Scarves are linked here and here and my riding boots are sold out. However, this pair is on sale here. My favorite coat of all time is linked here

So as you all know I have been transitioning into a dairy-free life - although I’ll never be completely dairy-free. I just can’t do it. However, I’m making an effort to be at least 75% dairy-free. So, therefore I wanted to try my hand out in making homemade cashew milk. I have to say it’s completely easy and so delicious! I started by soaking my cashews in water for a minimum of 4 hours and rinsed them thoroughly. Here are the simple breakdown and ingredients.

Good Morning Friends! I was feeling inspired to write a devotional this morning; focusing on a good heart. The Bible talks about having a good heart in a very unique way; in that, it links it with honesty. See, having an honest and good heart produces fruit or evidence of good works and good reactions to having to change our not so good ways. For example, If God speaks to you through His Word or a Sermon that you need to change the ways that will ultimately separate you from Him. An honest and good heart will take that information and become a better Servant of God. A heart that isn't honest or good, will make excuses and be stubborn and dishonest with themselves and say " I don't need to change anything, I'm ok the way that I am and disregard the information. But as Christians, we are constantly growing and producing good fruit or evidence and should never disregard any room for improvement and growth that we separate us from our Saviour.

Pink is such a classy and feminine color and it's also the perfect color for October; being that it's Breast Cancer awareness month. My Grandma and Aunt are both survivors, so in honor of all of the Survivor's I'm wearing pink. This is one of my favorite tops from Lilly, it has gold and silver thread details. Speaking of Lilly, they are also supporting this awareness all month long via signature stores and corporate stores. I love wearing a Brand that supports such a great cause.

Over the weekend I made a dairy-free version of my Grandmother's delicious and creamy oatmeal....well, pretty close to it. For a very long time, one of my Cousins and I have tried to recreate my Grandmother's Oatmeal. She told us the recipe but still, we can't quite make it the same as hers, it is just the BEST. I have come close to it though. However, since discovering that I have to cut dairy out due to a sickness (very difficult btw.) I am trying to find creative ways to still enjoy some of my dairy inclusive recipes without dairy. So here is my version of a creamy, delicious yet (almost) dairy-free oatmeal.

I love wearing Sherpa Jackets when its chilly outside. I recently bought this one for when it gets cooler. Here's a similar one. Also bought a new hat for the cooler months; I love wearing hats and I've been wearing the same one over and over so I figured it was time to buy a new one.
