Lilly Pulitzer APS Throughout the Years

Hi Friends! The Lilly sale will be here really soon. So I thought I'd share my After Party sale purchases throughout the years. I have scored some great pieces during the sale and most items I still have. For a true Lilly Lover, this sale is the best thing all year long. You can score some beautiful pieces on major sale from past seasons. I usually stock up on summer items during the January sale and the late summer sale I purchase cooler weather pieces. Being a Floridian, it's summer most of the year so buying all of those fun colorful prints to wear during the hot months can be so fun! So with that being said here are a few pictures of past APS purchases. Let me know if you have any of these pieces or remember any of them. I'd love to know what's on your wishlist. Also, when the sale arrives have lots of fun because that's what Lilly is all about.šŸ’œ

2020 Favorites

Hi Friends,  as we start closing out on 2020, I thought it'd be fun to round up my 2020 most worn outfits and favorites. It's no secret that I'm an outfit repeater. If you love something there's no harm in wearing it multiple times. Most of these items are sold out but I'll link the ones that are still available. The " curly hair for days" is from an Etsy shop and can be customized. I wear it sooooooo much and is great for a cozy and cool day running errands. I'll link the Etsy shop here.

Of course, all of my lilly purchases were worn alot and always a favorite. My camel colored pompom sweater from Lilly has definitely been a favorite of 2020 and is available in a beautiful evergreen color. I hope to score it during the After party sale. During the cooler months, I love wearing sweaters and I was so happy to score the Jcrew Cashmere crew neck sweater. Both of  colors I'm wearing are sold out; however, there's a beautiful dark purple color that is still available.

This Evergreen vest is my all time favorite, This gorgeous purple embroidered dress from Zara, My Lilly PJs, and the beautiful Lilac orchid dress. The palm dress is sold out but I wore it so much during the summer. It was a cool breezy dress that I found at H&M for only $5- I even found a black one as well. Heres a similar palm leaf one currently on sale.
The periwinkle and seafoam green sweater with gold buttons is one of my favorite newer items and it is so cozy and the quality is amazing! I highly recommend it and it is still available.
Also, one of my favorite purchases of 2020 is my super soft blanket from Lilly in the beautiful "paws for a  cause" prints.

To be honest, I love so many of the pieces that I wear. But these pieces I have worn alot throughout the year or they're great investments.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to bring more colorful outfits soon.

Garden Themed New Years Eve- for the HomeBody

Happy Saturday Friends! I can not believe that this year is almost over and how quickly time is going by. 2021 will be here in less than a week and if you're like me; you'll be spending it cozily at home. My ideal New Year's Eve is putting on a comfy yet cute maxi dress, throwing on these cozy sherpa garden-esque slippers, doing a fun puzzle or reading a book or listening to a podcast or audiobook. Drinking a delicious cup of coffee or this apricot tea- I love fruity teas. I also love lighting a candle- I always have a candle burning and this one is a signature scent! And ending the night with a healthy meal with my family.

A note from my heartšŸ’œ
My heart is overwhelmingly thankful for my famoly and all of my 2020 blessings. I'm so thankful for each and every one of you and your support. Cabana Life Stripes- Resort Wear

Hi Friends!
With the winter weather approaching us- heading somewhere warm where you can wear Resort wear is probably on your mind. Well, that's where Cabana Life comes to the rescue! I love this brand and their awareness for clothing with skin protection as well as being cute is on the forefront of their minds.
They recently launched a new Resort wear collection and this gorgeous wrap maxi skirt is apart of it.
It's meant to be worn as a coverup for the beach or pool over one of their beautiful uni suits. They are currently having a buy more save more sale; so you can get this skirt $20 off with code MORE20 when you checkout.

I styled my skirt with a white T-shirt because it's currently quite chilly here lately and I actually love it!
This maxi has beautiful detailing. Like, coral and gold thread tassels and coral and turquoise embroidery on the hem.

Throw on a straw hat, bamboo bag, and straw flats and you'll look resort chic.
Sizing tip- This skirt does run a little big, so I recommend sizing down. It is a wrap skirt for the beach or pool so that's why its little loose.

Absolutely beautiful skirtšŸ’œ

Skirt gifted from Cabana Life. However, all opinions are my own.

30 Years old- Things I've learned in my 20's

Well, friends, this is 30! I can not believe I'm typing thisšŸ˜¬. This year has been quite unique, to say the least. With a pandemic that has a 99% survival rate, to trusting God to provide for my family through an unnecessary economic shutdown (and He definitely did), to diving more into my blog and focusing on making it a little more successful than it was last year, to trusting God to give me financial wisdom while making some big girl decision/purchases, to hitting a milestone anniversary in my career, to learning from failure. Needless to say, I have learned sooooo much during my twenties.

For starters, I have learned that I am wholeheartedly an introvert and that it's perfectly ok. Although, I am not shy, because you can't be shy in the career field that I'm in; but I definitely have most if not all of the attributes of an introvert. I used to feel and still do occasionally feel as though people think I'm stuck up because I'm more reserved and somewhat a loner and takes much more energy for me to go out and be with others. But when I do, people are so surprised that I'm actually pleasant to talk tošŸ˜†

I've also learned that its ok to be independent and to not be married, or dating, or even have a boyfriend. An interesting fact about myself- I have not started dating yet and have never had a boyfriend. I often wonder if there is something wrong with me to not have a special Gentleman in my life or married. But I know that it is all in God's perfect timing. Plus, I have been so focused on becoming successful for myself and it also doesn't help that I'm an introvert. But if I decide to never marry or even if its another 10 years before I find that special Gentleman; it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with me. I'm still working on that part of me.

More things that I have learned in my twenties is to enjoy EVERY single moment. The older I get the more I realize that life is so precious and so is time. I soak up every single moment with my nephew because he's growing so quickly and I want to remember and cherish every moment.

I've learned to enjoy the special moments of being a first-time homeowner. As a home perfectionist, I want my house to be fully remodeled and fully decorated right now! But, some recently asked for first-time homeowner advice and this is what I said, "Enjoy, your first home at every single unfinished moment, even if its not fully decorated/renovated. Because you'll never be a first-time homeowner a second time." I have to constantly remind myself of that as I have a few more projects that I'm working on.

Speaking of my house- I trusted God for this beautiful home that I have. And I'm so thankful to have been a single woman in her twenties and to have purchased my first home. It came with lots of prayer, trust, hard work, and lots of waiting for the right one.

I've learned that good things come to those who wait!

I've learned to not worry about what others think about me so much- I'm really not that important.

I've learned that true beauty is really on the inside and is manifested when you're kind to others.

I've learned that there are so many lovely people in the world who don't judge by the color of my skin but by the content of my character.

I have learned to stick to my convictions even when others around me may not be.

I've learned (with a lot of help from my mom) to be my own person. I really didn't latch on to that concept until my early to mid-twenties. I was always trying to fit in. But I realized that God made me extra unique -lol- hence, that's how this blog of mine was born. I'm a creative person and my little blog is my creative and expressive corner and in some ways my journal.

I literally have learned so much, this blogpost could get lengthyšŸ˜†

But I put together a fun collage of the last seven days in my 20's to remember my younger years. Oh by the way it's my Grandma's birthday too! We share the same birthday and tomorrow is my nephew's second birthday. I always thought it was so funny that he was born the day after our birthday. He is a very special birthday gift and a cute one too!

All of these are so random šŸ˜† but that's what made them fun to take. Three pictures I had just woke up, two of them I was on a work business trip out of state, or in a hotel room. And being silly with my nephew and blogging of course.

I have so much more to type but I'll leave it at that and maybe do a continuation post. Because after all, I was in my twenties for a whole decade and I learned a lot more than what I typed here.

I hope that you enjoyed this post from my personal perspective and Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and read.

And Thank You God for 30 years!

Hugs from FloridašŸ’œ

Loving Lately Part 3

Hi Friends and  Welcome back! Iā€™m back with a ā€œloving latelyā€ post. Just a few things that I have been loving and wanted to share with you all.

First things first, is this sweater that I was so kindly gifted from the Team at sail to Sable for the photo shoot in Palm Beach a week in a half ago. It is such a beautiful sweater and the gold button details are stunning. Itā€™s super warm and made of great quality wool. Runs true to sizešŸ’œ

Iā€™ve been loving my new Jack Rogers, also gifted for the Palm Beach photoshoot. But I honestly have been wearing them every day since I received them. They are soooo comfortable and go with so much. I have the platinum color.

My favorite cozy and warm purple sweater from Ralph LaurenšŸ’œ I truly love this sweater and wish that it was still available to link. But we all know how much I love purple and how I love being cozy. For the two or three cool days we had in the past few weeks; I was able to wear it. Iā€™ll be putting it to good use once it cools down for more than twošŸ˜† Here and here is a couple that is similar and here's a new one from Lilly that'll be scooping up soon. There's actually a sale on all three options and they're a lot less expensive than what I paid for on this one.

Next up are the beautiful blooms outside of my dining room window! Last year I bought a cassia tree and itā€™s blooming these beautiful bright, golden yellow blooms and it makes my heart so happy to see them as I eat in the dining room.

Lastly my favorite song lately that Iā€™ve been loving and listening to over and over is this song from Group 1 crew. Itā€™s called ā€œHe saidā€ I love the message behind it. Itā€™s a wonderful reminder of Godā€™s promises that he said that Heā€™d keep.

In Palm Beach styling Sail to Sable/Jack Rogers

I can not believe it has been a week since I was in Palm Beach styling and shooting photos for Sail to Sable and they're beautiful new Resort Collection!!!!!!!!!! It was one of the best experiences of my blogging life and I have been blessed to have quite a few of those this year.

I am stil to this day extremely humbled and grateful to have been asked to participate in this styling. I was in the middle of such beautiful ladies and they have such beautiful content and style. As well as so fun and warm at the same time. I keep thinking " TAKE ME BACK!"

On this trip the beautiful peachy pink Colony Hotel hosted us and we had a delicious lunch poolside at the hotel at Swifty's, afterward we went about exploring Worth Ave. I took a short ride on the adorable golf cart. During this time on Worth Ave,  I was able to pick up a cute outfit for my nephews 2nd birthday. After that we took lots of photos of our outfits. I love that Sail to Sable allowed us to style our outfits how we would if it were for our blogs. I felt very relaxed as I love wearing flowy skirts and dresses and styled my new favorite sweater with a flowy white skirt; for a more unique and chic look.

Our beautiful shoes, gifted to us from Jack Rogers, was also a sweet treat! I love my slides and literaly have been wearing them for a week straight. Seriously!

Right before dinner, we took an adventure, literally lolšŸ˜†, to this private beach and a wonderful company set a beach picnic up for us with our very own box full of deliciousness.
The wind was strong and the waves were crashing- It was such a perfect evening watching God's magnificent artistry. The beach is my happy place.
My beautiful caftan in this beautiful leaf print was perfect for the beach.

This blush pink dress is so pretty and the perfect Florida style holiday/party dress

I love this picture of all of us.
From left to right Grace, Sarah, Beth, Danielle, Me, and Blaire
We had a delicious dinner at Lola 41, It was so delicious. I still keep thinking about my gnocchi šŸ˜‹

The next morning was absolutely beautiful, the hotel is literally just a short walk to the beach so it was really windy and pure "Florida Style sweater weather." I had a delicious breakfast and vanilla iced coffee and took more pictures for my blog. And then went down to the beach and the historic clock tower to soak everything up before I got back on the road for the next 3 in a half hours; and headed north to my home here in Central Florida where the temperature was 10 degrees cooler.šŸ˜†

Special thanks to Sail to Sable and the sweet Sisters from the blog Palm Beach Lately for inviting me! And special Thanks to Colony Palm Beach for hosting us! And thank you so much Jack Rogers for my pretty new shoes

And thank you all for stopping by and for all of your support!

Sweater weather in Palm Beach

Hi Friends! I was recently asked to go shoot some brand new resort wear looks from the Sail to Sable line; along with a few other favorite bloggers in beautiful Palm Beach. Originally the  forecast said 60% chance of rain but that chance went away and it ended up being such a beautiful day!

The next morning was a ā€œFloridianā€ version of sweater weather. The hotel that hosted us is right by the ocean and it was so breezy that you actually needed a sweater

This one is new from Sail to Sable and so soft and warm. It is made of Merino wool. I love the contrasting colors. The navy, hot pink and green- super classic! I paired it with a white skirt which is my personal go to and this cute platinum Jack Rogers sandals- which are EXTREMELY EXTREMELY comfortable by the way. I wore them all day long walking around and into the next day and drive home. They really are super comfy and on super sale. Iā€™ll link them here.

Stay tuned for more cute outfits here on the blog from Sail to Sable and my trip to Palm Beach.
Thanks so much for stopping by.šŸ’œ

Ivory & Gold with Sail to Sable

Happy Friday Friends! It's been a busy week over here for me, but I'm feeling happy, grateful, and blessed.  As thanksgiving all kinds of celebrations, specifically lots of birthdays in my little world over the next few weeks including my own. I can't help but think about pretty dresses to wear to special occasions. I received this pretty Ivory and Gold metallic dress in the mail from Sail to Sable and I could not wait to wear it. It has such a classic silhouette and it's great for special occasions. I recommend taking your true size; I sized up for extra length. I styled mine with nude pumps and my gold leather tote. I will add that the sleeves are a little itchy from the metallic threading but nothing too overbearing. I'm so excited to share more of this brand with you soon. It's a secret for now, but stay tuned as I share more about this female-founded business.

Thank you so much for the beautiful *gifted dress Sail to SablešŸ’œ

And thank you all for stopping by!

Maximize Autumn in Color

Hi Friends! Thank you all so much for stopping by my blog and just sticking around. Its been a crazy few days so I wanted to bring a little bit of fun with a new Lilly Maxi dress. We all know how much I love Lilly and Maxi dresses and this dress is my favorite from the resort collection. Its a great dress for our Thanksgiving gatherings or Family Photos. It was a little cool outside when I took these pictures, so I threw on a denim jacket so keep me warm because I'm totally a FloridianšŸ˜†. I get cold quite easy.

This dress does run true to size and is a great length and the sleeves have a nice elastic ruffle and you can pull it up for a cute detail. It does have a deep v neck, so if you are like me and don't like your business hanging; I recommend you adding a nice camisole. The print is stunning and is possibly my second favorite print.

I hope that You all have a great start to your week.

Goodnight and hugs from Florida.šŸ’œ

Happy Thursday Friends! If you love books, like me or know of someone who loves books. Here are some great book gifts that are unique and meaningful.

First things first, is this custom stamp from Etsy that can be added to book that you may gift to a friend along with the stamp. I love the design and it can be customized to your specifications.

Next up are a few of my favorites like this Ember mug, Iā€™ve featured it before. But itā€™s a great gift for people that love to drink coffee and read. It keeps your coffee or tea warm and reheats it for you.

Here are a few other book lovers gifts. This blue light block light, book darts, book embosser, and shelf

What are some other great book lovers accessories that you love? Iā€™d love to know!

Lilly Pulitzer Gifts under $60

Hi Friends! Thanks so much for stopping by. I wanted to share with you some cute new Lilly pieces that I have and have discovered to be great gifts. And all of them are under $60, which is even better.

First things first, let's talk pajamas- I love my Lilly pjs and they are ultra soft too. The food thing is that you can buy them individually or as a set to match. I personally chose the Print for a cause. Because Breast cancer awareness is very important to me. There are a plethora of new prints available over on the Lilly website to chose from. I'm eyeing this print as my next purchase of PJs. Plus, who wouldn't love a cute new PJ set?! Also pictured is the softest blanket ever. They are very scarce in store so I recommend ordering before they run out. This print and blanket is amazing and would be a wonderful gift!

Hats and more Hats! These two hats are so fun and are great options for people who like print but not a lot all over. Its great for a friend who wants to try Lilly out in small doses. lol, šŸ˜† both of these options are under $50 and are great gifts for poolside or everyday casual wear. The printed casual hat comes in a plethora of colors.
This printed headband is also to cute, I love this pretty print.
If you or a friend loves listening to music when they jog, This AirPods or earbud case is a great way to hide your AirPods or earbuds.

Now for the Friend who loves to journal (this one is only $12) or keeps her desk organized, these cute lilly items are my favorite. I have quite a few notebooks and I use my planner every day for work.
Also pictured is this cute umbrella and mobile charger. I love the turtle print!

I love my Lilly cooler and I use mine all of the time to carry my lunch or to keep my drinks cool in the summer while traveling. Speaking of drinks, I love cute tumblers and these are super cute gifts. I love giving these with a little coffee as a gift.

These Etta tops are so versatile and can be dressed up or down and are under $50 . These shirts come in solid colors and prints. I have the light pink one.

These pretty cappuccino mugs are currently on mega sale for only $29.99, they were originally $52! These would make a great gift for friends who love a good Italian cappuccino.

Thanks so much for stopping  by. I'll be sharing more favorites as gifts soon.

Loving Lately part 2

Welcome back! Hereā€™s a round up of some things that I have been loving lately and wanted to share with you all.

This beautiful purple cashmere crewneck sweater has been on repeat! And it has been a big seller on my blog as well! A few of you messaged me stating that you ordered it too! Iā€™ve worn it so much and Iā€™m not ashamed of outfit repeatingšŸ˜‚ This color is sold out but thereā€™s a darker purple still available and on my wishlist. These sweaters from JCrew have quickly become a favorite of mine. This is my second one and I foresee more in my future.

Letā€™s talk these wonderful oils- I love a good skincare routine and I have recently started to include these two oils (Argan oil and the Precious Face oil) in my personal skincare routine. They are hands down my favorite new skincare products. I add either of them in the morning under my sunscreen for a nice slight glow or at  night for extra moisture. I highly highly recommend either of these!

Iā€™m in love with my new pajamas from Lilly! Not only is the print gorgeous but it supports a good cause- Breast cancer research.
I love being cozy and theyā€™re so soft. These would make a great gift too, maybe for someone going through Breast Cancer or just a nice gift in general.
I love cooking and sometimes I crave certain foods. Fish was the craving this time and tacos so I went over to Pinterest and found this yummy and healthy recipe  and made some tasty fish tacos for dinner.

I love books šŸ“š Iā€™m a complete book work, but with my on-the-go career; in just not able to squeeze in a day of  reading. I still get some reading in occasionally,  but itā€™s mostly audiobooks for me.
Iā€™ve been enjoying this one called the Resistance
Hereā€™s a little  summary of the title:
Chaya a Jewish girl finds herself in Poland during a time where itā€™s dangerous being a Jew. Certain relatives disappear and Chaya finds herself on a mission to help others.

I have so many more favorites but Iā€™m going to save those for my next blogpost. Stay tuned!
