Updated skincare products

I decided it was time for a little skincare update. My skin has been breaking out lately and I thought it was time to refocus on the health of my skin. I'm also starting with my eating habits but that's a totally different post. Some things I have been using for a while, some things are new and some things I used to use and have started to incorporate them back into my skincare routine. For instance, I decided to start to use witch hazel again as a toner. It's non-alcoholic and helps to balance the Ph in my skin. I have been using 100% natural African black soap. My skin actually looks so much better since I have been using it for about two years. I buy it locally and stock up on it because it does sell out. As I'm drawing closer to 30 moisture is always a top priority. I have been experimenting with a variety of moisturizers but my favorite and one that I keep coming back to is the L'Occitane Shea butter moisturizer. I use the ultra-rich version because I dry skin. My favorite eye cream that I add at night and during the day sometimes depending on how my skins doing and if I haven't been drinking enough water. I have hyperpigmentation and spots of melasma in certain areas of my face so a use a dermatologist recommended sunscreen and this one by far is my favorite and it doesn't leave a white cast on your face on the regular version. I have recently introduced a dark spot cream on my face from Philosophy. I've heard good things about it. I'll update you all on how it works and if it's worth the price!
Last but not least; I've been using Burt's Bees night cream Intense Hydration and Aquafor healing ointment for my lips. Exfoliating your lips and keeping them moisturized is so important as well.

My new Favorite Turkish Robe. On Sale!!!! And Oh so super Soft. I'm going to get mine monogrammed. Surprise Surprise!
NO FILTER Selfie! This post is not sponsored by any means. I wish it was though! LOL! All opinions are my own and all products bought by me.
