Lilly Pulitzer Dressed for Summer

Have you heard the exciting news???!!!!! Well...... Lilly Pulitzer is having a sale! A dressed for Summer Sale to be exact. This has never happened before; trust me, I have been shopping Lilly for years. Usually, the sales are after the seasons' end but this time you'll be able to wear all of the warm weather clothes now instead of waiting until the following year.

So I wanted to share some tips that I've learned along the way.

1. Set up your account today so that your payment and shipping info is already in the system.
2. Have your top item names written down so that you can put them in the search bar to pull them items right up. Instead of scrolling through each category.
3. Checkout quickly! Just because an item is in your cart doesn't mean it is yours. I've had items disappear because I didn't check out quick enough.
4. Also, there will be a virtual line so have every single electronic logged on. Especially if you have a long wishlist.
5. Lastly, have fun and don't stress out. There will be more sales for us to shop in the near futurešŸ’œ

Now on to what will be apart of the sale. I have tried on a few items and I'll post them below so that you can see how they fit on me. Also, these items will be on sale for up to 60% off which is awesome for Lilly.

This is the Wynne dress and I love love love it! I have two of these in different prints. Its the most comfortable Tshirt dress and super soft. I highly recommend this one. If you only buy one thing from the sale, this dress is the one I REALLY think you need. It comes in two prints. I'm wearing my usual size in the dress. In the sale, it'll be less than $70.
I'm so excited that this dress The Cori Stretch Midi Shirtdress and everything in this print is included in the sale.
The Karter cropped Hoodie, The Elliana Pullover and Dillon Pullover.
Love this silk Pheobe Embroidered top in this beautiful pink. My favorite part is the chest and sleeve details.
Here's the other Wynne maxi dress in a floral print.
Be sure to be following my Like to know it page here, as I link all of my favorites. There are so many items that will be apart of the sale. I can't wait to shop and get items on my wishlist. Happy Shopping Friends.

Neutral leopard Duster from Lonestar Southern & The Impeccable Pig

Hi Friends! I wanted to share an outfit that would be great for an evening out. This outfit includes my new favorite from Kate's Lonestar Southern and The Impeccable Pig collection- it a silky sheer neutral camel colored duster cardigan. I have a feeling my mom is going to steal this from my closet. She loves long duster cardigans. I love the balloon sleeves and this print is so beautiful. I paired mine with all-white for a chic summery vibe and brown wedge heels. I'm loving this whole Summer collection. I'll link my duster here as well as the website for the entire collection. I would run, a lot of things have already sold out.

Sunday Meal prep Callieā€™s Hot Little Biscuit Cheddar Crisps

Happy Sunday evening friends. Today was a semi-productive day, meaning I didnā€™t get any house chores done. But I did manage to get some meal prep done and make a delicious recipe. Iā€™ll be home in Florida most of this week and also working from home on some schedules. So I wanted to make a healthier and delicious meal for at least two days of this week. When I travel, obviously I eat out and sometimes itā€™s a lot of quick unhealthy foods. So when Iā€™m home I like to reset and make something healthy, delicious, and somewhat quick. So as you may know, Callieā€™s hot little biscuit is my favorite biscuit company and I have two packages of their biscuit mix in my pantry. I was thrilled when they sent me a package of their frozen biscuits as well as their cheese crisps. Their cheese crisps to me are a combination of a cheez-it and a crouton with a dash of spice due to the pepper. I wanted to incorporate the cheese crisps into my meal this week so I put my creative thinking cap on and decided on making baked breaded chicken thighs using the cheese crisps and some bread crumbs mixed together. So I whipped out my cookware and went to cooking and MY OH MY!!!!! It turned out better than I thought. Iā€™ll humbly give myself a 10 out of 10šŸ‘šŸ¾ I highly suggest making this for yourself. I included homemade Baked seasoned sweet potato fries and carrots and broccoli for all of the healthy vitamins.

Here is the recipe. Note* I'm a single person so this recipe can be adjusted to your particular needs.
4 chicken thighs - I used the one with the skin on.
1/2 of a cup of bread crumbs- you can use seasoned. I used unseasoned because that's what I had in my pantry.
Olive oil
Salt and Pepper for your chicken if you don't have seasoned bread crumbs.
Heat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Drizzle olive oil over chicken and season with salt and pepper.
Mix the bread crumbs and Cheese crisps together and spread over chicken and then place in oven until it's thoroughly cooked. And then through together some sides and enjoy your meal.

Callie's Hot Little Biscuit can be found in grocery stores like Costco, Fresh Market, and online also. They actually started as an online company shipping their delicious family recipe biscuits. So if you don't have a Fresh Market or a Costco near you, sending it via mail is a great option. I received my biscuits via mail and it was packaged nicely.
Let me know if you try this recipe, I'd love to know. I know that many of you message me with kind words stating that you love my recipes and love when I share them.

Thank you so much for stopping by my little blog.
Hugs,
from the Sunshine StatešŸŒž

Living Room Sofa Styling

Happy Wednesday Friends! As you all know I'm constantly decorating my house and working on design/renovation projects. My living room is 90ish percent done, except for a few things here or there. So yesterday I decided to do some styling in my living room to make it feel more complete. I had two framed tapestry pieces from India that I had in a different room- I just moved them to the living room however I didn't stop there.
I recently bought a beautiful gray and white tassel throw from one of my boutiques Agapanthus. They have two beautiful locations in Central Florida I'll link their website here and both of  Instagram pages in each location here and here. I love that they have a website, that's how I found this beautiful throw which is also from India.
So I'll share two different sofa styles with you. Also, all of the throws and the pillow are from Agapanthus. I'll be sure to link directly to each of them.

So I started with a blank slate. I love my cream-colored slipcovered sofa it is deep and cozy. But it needed a little dressing up. I added this beautiful camel colored velvet pillow a herringbone throw in a gray and cream color with my tassels and a beautiful monogrammed letter "E" for my first name. I also added a white and gray lumbar pillow with my hometown on it. (You can get these customized at Agapanthus). The fabric is amazing and great quality!!!! All of the items featured here are under $50. So they have great prices for great quality.

The second styling is this beautiful gray and white big tassel throw and large Moroccan pillow which also has tassels. Do you see a trend here?šŸ˜†
The finishing touches were some palm fronds from the yard and my favorite copper stool and more greenery accents. Which sofa styling is your favorite?

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out Agapanthus website and Instagram and support small businesses. I love this boutique and shop there all of the time for gifts and home accessories. Stay tuned for more cute items featured from Agapanthus.
Hugs,
 From sunny FloridašŸŒž
