Loving Lately Part 10

Snail mail time! Who else loves a good old fashioned handwritten letter? Raise your hands. Well, I do too, and today I wanted to share with you a couple Etsy shops where you can find the prettiest vintage stamps and some fun stationery from a cute little Florida business.

You can find the stamps here and here. And the green toile stationery is from Giddy paperie in Winter Park, Fl. I’ll link their site here.

I’ve also been loving making boba tea. It has replaced my vanilla iced coffee that I use to drink as a treat. It is not super healthy. But I did a homemade recipe and used as many organic ingredients, aside from the boba, as I could.
This kiwi, strawberry and raspberry combo was delicious. I’ll link the YouTube video here with other recipes to try as well.
I recommend these straws for the boba or these if you don’t want to have plastic waste.
I have been loving this white gauze skirt and the price is amazing! It’s perfect for those Long Beach walks, brunch or even church. I truly love this skirt and wear it a lot. I recommend sizing down.

Thanks for tuning into my 10th edition of “Loving Lately!”
Hugs from Sunny Florida!

Loving Lately Part 9

Hello Friends! thanks for tuning in to my 9th edition of "Loving Lately."

First off I want to share with you this delicious recipe that I made this week. I truly is so tasty! It was the first time making green Thai curry and it won't be the last time I make this dish. I'll link the recipe here. You'll thank me later.😊

I have been wearing this gold sandals constantly lately. They're comfortable and go with all of my casual sundresses. These are less than $15 and come in multiple colors.

I love this dress, I mean love! I wore it earlier today after being in my pjs all day. It's roomy, so I recommend sizing down. It just restocked so grab it before it sells out again.

Another favorite is this tote from a new to me brand- Shorebags. This tote holds so much and is GREAT quality. I highly recommend.

Last but certainly not least, I have been loving my beautiful blooming Mystic Dahlia that's currently blooming in the yard; the color issue unique and vibrant. If you live in Florida and are looking for a new addition to your garden, this plant is a good one. It does very well in the heat.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Loving Lately Part 8

Hi Friends! I can not wait to share what I’ve been loving lately! If you’re new to my blog, I like to share about things that I have been “loving lately.” It can be recipes, outfits, places, people, etc.

This time I’ll be sharing a delicious recipe- probably the best ever. So I make a delicious macaroni and cheese (if I may humbly say) I usually get asked to make it for Thanksgiving. I decided to make it for a church luncheon this past weekend and it was definitely a hit.

I occasionally switch up the cheeses I use but it always turns out delicious no matter what.

Here’s what I used this time.

Elbow pasta

8 oz of cheddar cheese

8 oz of gruyere cheese

Three quarters of the cottage cheese container of a 16 oz

Lots of butter that I grate and sprinkle and mix in with cheese

Enough Whole milk to cover all of the pasta- it depends on the container and how much macaroni you’re making. I made a 9x13 dish so I use a pint.

Salt, a tablespoon of cumin and nutmeg

Mix and bake on 350 for about 45 minutes

Delish!

Next up is a blogger Mary and Crew and my oh my! How I have been loving her account! She is currently overcoming a battle with cancer but her spirit is always positive and inspiring. She has 3 little adorable children and the cutest account ever! She’s a fellow design enthusiast and her taste is impeccable. I recently discovered her through another blogger and I’m so glad that I did! She also collaborated with Breck and Grier and created the prettiest straw totes- yep, you may have seen them and have already gotten one for yourself.

If you’re not following Mary- please do yourself a favor and run and tap that follow button💜

Next is my new favorite fuschia/purplish dress 💜 I’m so in love with this dress y’all- it is soooo good and soooo comfortable and soooo flowy and soooo perfect for summertime! I can NOT recommend this dress enough! It is currently on sale 40% making it less than $60. Use code SUMMER when you checkout. It does run roomy which is perfect fine for me.

Last but not least, is a glass cup that’s only $12! It’s a juice glass but I drink water, iced coffee and kombucha from it. It’s so pretty and delicate and comes in multiple patterns. But of course, it’s strawberries 🍓 for me please! It also has coordinating flowers etched on it that are just stunning.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I can’t wait to share my next “loving lately!”

Hugs from Florida,

Loving Lately part 7

Hi Friends! How is it May?????!!!  I mean really! It really is true the older you get the quicker time goes. Anyways, you know what time is is- it’s what I’m “loving lately” time.

Lately I’ve been loving beautiful glassware to drink plain ole water and occasionally iced vanilla coffee. I have a think for pretty glassware, cups and mugs- it’s literally a problem. Here are my most recent ones linked here, here and here

Two recipes that I’ve been loving is this vegetarian meal. Sweet potato black beans burger- I’ll link it here. Soooo tasty!

Also, occasionally I get in the mood for baking; which doesn’t happen very often. I’m not really a good baker but I do enjoy trying 😂 I can honestly say, I’m a good cook but not a good baker. But this strawberry scone recipe will make any non baker feel good about their baking.

Now on to books- I’ve always heard about “where the Crawdads sing” but never listened to it or read it until recently. And my was it a good one, I definitely recommend.

I also, listened to “ the next girl” definitely a thriller and emotional. Warning: there is some language but the ending ends well, which is always good.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you check out my “Loving Lately” list.

Hugs,
From Florida💜

Loving Lately Part 6

Hi Friends! If you've been following for a while, you know that I share a series called "Loving Lately." It's an assortment of things that I've been loving lately; whether it be food, books, fashion, home decor,  etc. I love sharing because it may be something you'd like to try yourself. This time its pretty much food and candles- I love cooking and I love candles, so it's perfect!

So with the being said lets start with this tasty recipe and super easy side dish that I literally have been making for years now. Its Honey and curry roasted carrots. I'll link the recipe here saved from my Pinterest from food blogger Once upon a Chef.

This vegetarian Bolognese pasta dish is delicious! It was possibly one of my favorite vegetarian dishes I've ever made. I'm not vegetarian, but I do make and eat a lot of vegetarian meals because sometimes I'm just not in the mood to eat meat. I'll also link the recipe here from Half Baked Harvest.

Next on my Loving Lately list are candles- I love a good smelling house and I love the way candles make me feel at home. So serene and cozy. This scent from Yankee Candle is the perfect combo of fresh and fruity. Its called Sun-Drenched Apricot Rose. It is purely amazing!

A crowd favorite is the Capri Blue Volcano scent both men and women love this scent and its the perfect combo of citrus and tropical🍊It comes in a variety of sizes too.

Lastly, This new scent from bath and body works is this fresh and fruity smell called Mango Waters. I have been burning this constantly.
I hope that you try check my loving lately favorites out and let me know if you do!

Hugs,

Ebonee💜

Loving Lately Part 5

Hi Friends,
Here's another round up of "Loving Lately." If you're new around here "Loving Lately" is a collection of things that I have been loving lately. Whether its an outfit, books, a recipe, or place. I love to share just in case you'd like to check them out yourself or discover something new.

I have to say, I have been loving this navy and white horse embroidered dress. If you know me really well, then you know why. I've featured it on my blog a couple of weeks ago.

Also, recently I went to my towns new Equestrian center to watch horses jumping. Horses are such beautiful creatures and it's so nice reminiscing about when I used to ride horses. And being near such beautiful animals. We plan to take my nephew because he loves animals.

Before we were yours” a heart wrenching book based on the true story of Child Trafficker Georgia Tann and the conspiracy she led all under the disguise of caring for children. This is a must read! A worldwide crime that sadly, never got to justice. It makes you think just because a Judge passes law doesn't make to law right or just!

This book by Booker T. Washington "Up from Slavery" was such a great book and encouraging one. He did not let the current time and circumstances get in the way of him being successful. He also did not play victim just because he was a minority; he rose above it and today is a well known man of history.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Loving Lately part 4

Happy Monday and first Day of February! I can't believe we are already in the second month of 2021!!!!WOW!

So for you who are new to reading my blog, I love to share things that I'm "Loving Lately." I can be all kinds of things From home decor, recipes, outfits, books, etc.

So first things first, I'm loving this peel and stick Sea Grass wallpaper that fellow designer and blogger McKenzie recommended. I have textured walls in every room of my home, except for my office, kitchen and Master Bathroom. So I was able to create an accent wall in my office. Its is the perfect addition and adds so much texture. The natural color is perfect and matches the wall color that I already had in place.

I do NOT recommend that you use this wallpaper in bathrooms or on textured walls. However, This wallpaper is very easy to work with and very easy to maneuver and comes in other colors. The price is good too only $44! I used a roll in a half to complete my project.

I'm also loving this cozy cream henley maxi dress. It is actually on sale an extra 40% off the already marked down price. Tonight is the last night for that sale and there's only a few sizes left.
The Basia cardigan is also my favorite lately- it is so cozy and soft the quality is amazing and I've been wearing it so much.

As you may know my little home is featured in the Southern Living magazine Jan/Feb 2021 issue and I've been loving all of the sweet messages and new faces over on my Instagram/Eboneeshae. I'm extremely grateful and humbled by the kindness and this wonderful opportunity.

]
I haven't been drinking a lot of Iced coffee lately because it just doesn't sound good. However, when I do get a coffee craving I love kookaburra's Iced Honey badger. Which is a delicious mix of honey, vanilla and cinnamon- My oh my is it tasty. Its delicious hot or cold. So if you're ever in St. Augustine be sure to swing by Kookuburra's- they a few different locations.

Last but not least,  is a book. I love reading and audio books. Saving CeeCee Honeycut was definitely enjoyable. It was recommended by a lovely reader of my blog. I won't ruin it by spilling what its all about but think Steel magnolia meets The Help- which I love by the way.

Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my little blog. Stay tuned for more.

Hugs from Florida💜

2020 Favorites

Hi Friends,  as we start closing out on 2020, I thought it'd be fun to round up my 2020 most worn outfits and favorites. It's no secret that I'm an outfit repeater. If you love something there's no harm in wearing it multiple times. Most of these items are sold out but I'll link the ones that are still available. The " curly hair for days" is from an Etsy shop and can be customized. I wear it sooooooo much and is great for a cozy and cool day running errands. I'll link the Etsy shop here.

Of course, all of my lilly purchases were worn alot and always a favorite. My camel colored pompom sweater from Lilly has definitely been a favorite of 2020 and is available in a beautiful evergreen color. I hope to score it during the After party sale. During the cooler months, I love wearing sweaters and I was so happy to score the Jcrew Cashmere crew neck sweater. Both of  colors I'm wearing are sold out; however, there's a beautiful dark purple color that is still available.

This Evergreen vest is my all time favorite, This gorgeous purple embroidered dress from Zara, My Lilly PJs, and the beautiful Lilac orchid dress. The palm dress is sold out but I wore it so much during the summer. It was a cool breezy dress that I found at H&M for only $5- I even found a black one as well. Heres a similar palm leaf one currently on sale.
The periwinkle and seafoam green sweater with gold buttons is one of my favorite newer items and it is so cozy and the quality is amazing! I highly recommend it and it is still available.
Also, one of my favorite purchases of 2020 is my super soft blanket from Lilly in the beautiful "paws for a  cause" prints.

To be honest, I love so many of the pieces that I wear. But these pieces I have worn alot throughout the year or they're great investments.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to bring more colorful outfits soon.

Hugs from sunny Florida💜

Loving Lately Part 3

Hi Friends and  Welcome back! I’m back with a “loving lately” post. Just a few things that I have been loving and wanted to share with you all.

First things first, is this sweater that I was so kindly gifted from the Team at sail to Sable for the photo shoot in Palm Beach a week in a half ago. It is such a beautiful sweater and the gold button details are stunning. It’s super warm and made of great quality wool. Runs true to size💜

I’ve been loving my new Jack Rogers, also gifted for the Palm Beach photoshoot. But I honestly have been wearing them every day since I received them. They are soooo comfortable and go with so much. I have the platinum color.

My favorite cozy and warm purple sweater from Ralph Lauren💜 I truly love this sweater and wish that it was still available to link. But we all know how much I love purple and how I love being cozy. For the two or three cool days we had in the past few weeks; I was able to wear it. I’ll be putting it to good use once it cools down for more than two😆 Here and here is a couple that is similar and here's a new one from Lilly that'll be scooping up soon. There's actually a sale on all three options and they're a lot less expensive than what I paid for on this one.

Next up are the beautiful blooms outside of my dining room window! Last year I bought a cassia tree and it’s blooming these beautiful bright, golden yellow blooms and it makes my heart so happy to see them as I eat in the dining room.

Lastly my favorite song lately that I’ve been loving and listening to over and over is this song from Group 1 crew. It’s called “He said” I love the message behind it. It’s a wonderful reminder of God’s promises that he said that He’d keep.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll be back with more blog fun💜

Loving Lately part 2

Welcome back! Here’s a round up of some things that I have been loving lately and wanted to share with you all.

This beautiful purple cashmere crewneck sweater has been on repeat! And it has been a big seller on my blog as well! A few of you messaged me stating that you ordered it too! I’ve worn it so much and I’m not ashamed of outfit repeating😂 This color is sold out but there’s a darker purple still available and on my wishlist. These sweaters from JCrew have quickly become a favorite of mine. This is my second one and I foresee more in my future.

Let’s talk these wonderful oils- I love a good skincare routine and I have recently started to include these two oils (Argan oil and the Precious Face oil) in my personal skincare routine. They are hands down my favorite new skincare products. I add either of them in the morning under my sunscreen for a nice slight glow or at  night for extra moisture. I highly highly recommend either of these!

I’m in love with my new pajamas from Lilly! Not only is the print gorgeous but it supports a good cause- Breast cancer research.
I love being cozy and they’re so soft. These would make a great gift too, maybe for someone going through Breast Cancer or just a nice gift in general.
I love cooking and sometimes I crave certain foods. Fish was the craving this time and tacos so I went over to Pinterest and found this yummy and healthy recipe  and made some tasty fish tacos for dinner.

I love books 📚 I’m a complete book work, but with my on-the-go career; in just not able to squeeze in a day of  reading. I still get some reading in occasionally,  but it’s mostly audiobooks for me.
I’ve been enjoying this one called the Resistance
Here’s a little  summary of the title:
Chaya a Jewish girl finds herself in Poland during a time where it’s dangerous being a Jew. Certain relatives disappear and Chaya finds herself on a mission to help others.

I have so many more favorites but I’m going to save those for my next blogpost. Stay tuned!

Loving Lately

Hi Friends, I wanted to share with you all the things that I have been loving lately. It's everything from books to recipes to blogs. I'm not sure how often I'll do them but I thought today would be a good start.

So with that being said let's start with books!
I just finished this book Words on Fire and I really liked it; without giving too much away here's a summary. It takes place in Lithuania under Russian rule and books, religion, culture, and even the Lithuanian language is banned. Annnnd that's all I'm going to say. Loved this one

Next on my list of things I'm loving lately are Natalie Yerger's blog and IG account. I have been following her for a while now and I love her classic, French neutral style. You definitely should check out her blog and go give her a follow. I'm always inspired by her home decorating and she has a beautiful Gold Retriever!

I am so in love with my purple embroidered dress and have been trying to find any and every occasion to wear it! It's from Zara favorite purchase from them. I've dressed it up and styled it more casually. LOVE it!

This Cashmere Crewneck Sweater has been on repeat also and I'm not ashamed about it either. It is the most versatile and practical sweater and the quality is great! It's not itchy and it comes in a plethora of colors- I have about 5 other colors on my wishlist. I'm wearing my true size. I highly recommend it and it's under $100 which is great for cashmere and can be layered also.

Now let's talk about food- we all know that I love to cook and I love good food. I have been tinkering with Indian cuisine lately and a co-worker turned me on to Butter chicken. I tweaked it by adding peas because I wanted some veggies to go along with it. Trust me once you try this recipe you WILL be addicted. I'm craving it now. LOL

Ok, so candles are my favorite home accessories and just my favorite in general. I found this one at hobby lobby and have been loving this scent. Y'all it smells SO.GOOD! You can use your 40% off hobby lobby coupon if it's not already on sale. It's not super expensive either even full price which is great.

Lastly, My Sarah Flint Natalie Flats have been my most favorite shoe and goes with so much. I love the classic style with the pointed toe and asymmetrical bow. This color is great for year-round but especially for fall because of the rich tone.

Well, thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the blog world. I hope that you check out the things that I'm loving lately and let me know if you do. Have a great day and stop back by soon!💜
