My After Party Sale 2017 Purchases

     Hi There! I thought I'd pop in with a little peak at what I purchased Thus far, from the APS.
Here's Round one!

This Bonita Clutch Bag almost slipped out of my hands. But, I managed to get it in my cart before it got away.

This Marin Ombre Sweater Wrap is actually still available. I've Been eyeing this since it came out. And its in my favorite color,  so I grabbed this for the autumn/winter time here Florida.  Originally $108 marked down to $39!!!!!!

Round two purchase! This gorgeous  Palm Beach silk robe was definitely on my wishlist. Too bad I didn't have it on my Palm Beach vacation a couple weeks ago.  This is it for now. If I purchase anything else, I'll update this post. What did you get I'd love to know. Happy shopping!!!

My Lilly After Party Sale Tips

    Hi there!!!! As we all patiently await one of the biggest sales Lilly has during the summer the other in the winter.  I thought I'd share a few of my tips for shopping the Lilly sale successfully and sanely, may I add. I've been shopping the sale for a few years now and I wanted to share some things I've learned.

So first,  setup an account and have your credit card and mailing address info all ready to go, so that when you check out you are all ready to go. I've also found that before they open the website you can't log in because they're getting the site ready for the sale. So its best if you have your info all ready. 

Secondly,  have a list of things you really want or even need and save the extra shopping for after or even better just stick to your list so that you are not over spending. I find if I have a list, I tend to go straight to that category and checkout quickly, instead of browsing through all of the categories. 

Thirdly,  know your size. I know this seems like a silly tip, but I learned this lesson from the last sale.  I bought a top that I had been wanting since it released last spring. And I found that I was a little snug in the bust area. Thankfully, it has buttons so I was able to make due and leave a few buttons open. So if you can try on certain styles in the stores to see if how they fit because remember you can't return these items.

Fourth tip, try to plan a free morning  if you can because the virtual line, once the site opens, can be quite long.

Last but not least, have fun! Don't stress! Remember it's just a sale. And there's always Signature stores and corporate stores that participate in the sale too. And I've found the signature stores have much better prices sometimes. Over the years I've shopped all venues.  Living in Florida theres always a Lilly nearby so I would stop by or call and they'd ship to me.

Vacation in Palm Beach and Boca Raton

     Hello! So as you know I spent almost a week in South Florida, specifically, Palm Beach and Boca Raton.( Rumor has it I'll be back down there soon. Shhh, don't tell.)  So I thought that I'd put together a blogpost on some places that I recommend visiting or eating if you plan on going there anytime soon yourself.
       So first things first. Hotels, there are a plethora of gorgeous hotels and resorts in Palm Beach. I stayed at Eau Palm Beach Resort. And Oh My Goodness!!! I felt like a princess with all of the wonderful services that they provide. And my hotel room was GAWGEOUS!!! And professionally designed.

         My first couple days I ate at the resort. They had so many restaurants to choose from. But I chose Ocean Breeze which is located outside near the beach and you can sit near the water as you eat. I also ordered room service breakfast in bed. My pancakes and fruit were delicious.

If you've never been to The Breakers.  You MUST GO Immediately. I loved it so much that I actually went twice. The court yard is gorgeous.

    The iconic Worth Avenue was also one of my favorite places to explore and to shop (besides 4 Lilly Stores I went to) and it also has some beautiful landscape and hidden treasures down each road.

Now, Boca Raton is just as gorgeous. I had a taste for a healthy sweet snack. So I stop by Raw Juice and I ordered the Black Magic Acai Bowl. I substituted the almond milk for coconut milk because I'm allergic to almond milk. And the 

Raw Juice team was so nice and helpful and made some great recommendations for places to visit while I was vacationing.

I did so much exploring and visited so many places that I can't put it all in one post. But most of all I really enjoyed the beaches both in Palm Beach and Boca Raton. I hope that this post gave you some good ideas on where to go on your next trip to South Florida. I definitely plan on doing a lot more exploring on my next trip. Finding Rest and True Peace

     Good Morning Everyone.  Today's devotional is all about finding rest and true peace in Jesus.  There are people in this world who turn to drugs or other unhealthy addictions trying to find peace in their life  or find happiness through lots of material things or even an answer. But just know that Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is such a great promise.

    There are times when I was really burdened and worried and I would just remember that God is much bigger than any fear, addiction or problem and that he can handle it all. So, if you are ever feeling afraid, sorrowful or maybe you have an addiction that you want to overcome. Remember you can always give it to God and he will give you true peace. It may sound cliché, but it is so true. I myself have experienced true peace and rest through God.

Maxi Stripes on Worth Avenue

   So you all know how much I love maxi skirts and especially dresses.  Well, I was fortunate enough to get my hands on this beautiful navy and white maxi from J.Crew.  Unfortunately, its sold out though, I originally seen this dress in store and it was only one left and in my size, but I couldn't decide if I wanted to pay full price or not. So I didn't get it.

   It eventually when on sale on the J.Crew website and was selling like crazy. I literally missed this dress in my size by seconds. I called every J.Crew store I could think of, even the Corporate store, the lovely lady said that they were all sold out. And probably never coming back since it was an early release from spring. Fast Forward a month ago, No lie, it appeared back on the J.Crew website!!!! Only In my size too! I literally raced to order it for my vacation in Palm Beach. I knew it was meant just for me.

   I wore this on my first day of exploring Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. I highly recommend going there if you ever visit Palm Beach. Its Extremely beautiful. (I'll do a blogpost on places I recommend going in Palm Beach soon.) I received soooo many compliments on this dress. It fits perfectly and it can be worn year round, which is my personal favorite part. Rain or Shine-And A Charles River Apparel GIVEAWAY!!!!

       Hey There! So in Florida it rains almost everyday in the summer time, as a matter of fact, it rained really hard right before I took these pictures. I didn't bring an umbrella with me but it was ok because the jacket also has a nice hood. So if it did rain while I was exploring, I could slide my hood on and not worry about  a thing. I also plan on getting mine monogrammed. Because, you know I monogram almost everything.

Palm Beach Style

      I'm Absolutely loving it here in Palm Beach!!!  I could almost move here.  The architecture is Grand and the landscape is beautiful.  I have pretty much walked everywhere and along those walks I found little hidden alcoves and beauty on every turn.  Get ready for Palm Beach photography overload.  This morning I seen this beautiful  purple bougainvillea archway and tucked inside was a sitting area and a fountain. So I decided to snap some pictures of my new favorite Maxi Skirt from Lilly Pulitzer in  vibrant colors. You all know how much I love a maxi dress or skirt. And this one happened to be on mega sale at C. Orrico a Lilly Pulitzer signature store. The print is called "Never been Betta" I think that's a perfect name for such a perfect skirt.

 Also got to shoot some fun pictures at the resort where I'm staying. They have 2 beautiful pools which I did manage to take a short swim.
