My Vacation Tips

Hi Friends! I have been in full action mode over here and I'm loving it! So I wanted to share with you my vacation tips to make your vacation time enjoyable and when you return from vacation an easy transition back into your regularly scheduled programming.

Tip #1 Plan outfits according to activities and your surroundings. Like when mom and I were in Palm Beach, I packed outfits for spending most of our time by the water i.e. Lilly Pulitzer and Sail to Sable pieces.

Tip #2 Make your bed/tidy the house; so that its neat for when you return and it'll be easy to unpack and get back to your regular schedule.

Tip #3 Scope out great places to eat and check out the menus before hand. Mom and I loved the Almond
I ordered the most delicious Lobster omelette with avocado and bacon. OH MY SOOOO GOOD! We dined outside and it was breezy and lovely.
Tip #4 Explore! Find hidden gems and steer away from touristy areas- less crowds and you'll be surprised by what you may find. Mom and I found the prettiest spots that I've never seen before and I've been to Palm Beach quite a few times.

Tip #5 Relax- mom and I just enjoyed the warm breeze and found a little boba tea shop and walked around and relaxed by the water. It truly was so peaceful and relaxing and it helped me reflect on what's most important. And embrace all of God's beauty around me.
Tip #6 Download your favorite audiobooks or pick some up at the library. Choose ones with a timeframe according to your travel distance; so that you're not getting too anxious but enjoying the car ride and listening to your favorite stories.

Lastly, Tip #7 Pack some healthy snacks- you never know when you might get a little hungry in between meals; but might not want to stop at every fast food or convenient shop. It saves you time and a little money.

I hope that my tips were helpful. These are what I do make a fun and refreshing trip.

Stay tuned for more.

Dinner outfit at Eau Palm Beach Resort

Hello Friends, Vacation in Palm Beach at Eau Palm Beach Resort was so fabulous and the dining was as well. It was so nice to be able to bring my nice Lilly dresses and wear them out to dinner. We all really need a break from the monotony that's happening in the world and spend time with those you love. Mom and I got dressed up and headed to dinner at the Temple Orange at the Resort. I bought this dress during the Lilly Pulitzer dress for summer sale and it arrived just in time for our Vacation. And let me tell you, this dress is "Eau" so beautiful! See what I did there?😉 You all know how much I love Maxi dresses, this one was such an elegant and perfect piece for the resort we chose to dine in.

Thanks so much for stopping by and stay tuned for more outfit styling blogposts!

Our Stay at Eau Palm Beach Resort

Hi There! I received a lot of messages about where my mom and I stayed while we were in Palm Beach. The Resort is Eau Palm Beach and this is actually my second time staying at this Resort. I absolutely love this Resort, the Staff is Friendly and Professional and they're very conscientious about everything happening by having hand sanitizer at your access. The service is IMPECCABLE!!!!! I highly recommend if you're planning a trip to South Florida.
When Mom and I arrived we greeted with the Friendly staff and tour of the Resort (this was my mom's first visit) plus there were some new additions since my last stay.
Our room had a beautiful view of the pools and the Ocean. The resort is literally right on the Atlantic and we were able to open the doors and sit out on the balcony and watch the waves.
The Resort also has quite a few restaurants to eat in. Mom and I had a delicious Caribbean style lunch of lobster and shrimp at Breeze Ocean Kitchen. Later that night we had Italian at Temple Orange also located in the Resort.

After Lunch, I had a spa treatment appointment that was AHHHMAZING😍 I can not say enough good things about how beautiful the spa is and my massage was definitely what I needed. I like how you can set the tone for your massage and customize it to your preference. I picked soft purple lighting with jazz music for my spa treatment. I didn't want to leave.
The rest of our day was spent relaxing on the beach and enjoy the sun.

The next morning we were served a delicious breakfast before heading to Worth Ave. I love the Resorts breakfast and highly recommend ordering a delicious breakfast in bed.
Our stay at Eau Palm Beach ( Eau means 'water' in French) was so wonderful. I'll leave the website link here as well as Discover The Palm Beaches link here if you're wanting to explore Palm Beach.

Thanks so much to Discover The Palm Beaches for sponsoring this post.*
All opinions are my own and honest😊

Thanks Friends! Stay tuned for more.

24 Hour Packing Tips

Occasionally, I have overnight trips and only need a small bag for my travels. I put together a couple tips for traveling/packing for short trips and how I pack. I absolutely LOOOOVVVEE the Lilly Pulitzer Palm Beach tote for overnight/23 hour trips. It zips up and holds just the right amount of stuff. I recently discovered the KonMari method and how to utilize space when packing. So, I used one of the methods for underwear and smaller items.
My Tip number one: Always bring extra underwear; even if you're only staying for one night. Because you never know! And its better to be safe than sorry.
The smaller bag fits underwear and a smaller bag with skincare etc. It fits soooo much!

My Tip number two: Pack an extra outfit according to dinner plans.

Here I have two options. This first one is a super cozy, pink velvet jacket and a neutral comfortable bottom. This outfit is geared towards an "after work I'm going to grab chick-fil-a, head to the hotel and put on my cute strawberry socks, to finish sending emails or read my latest book outfit."

The second outfit is fun yet chic maxi dress with some gold shoes these are currently $7 dollars by the way. It's an" I worked hard today and a nice dinner is  appropriate tonight."
Bonus Tip: Make time for an iced vanilla coffee!

Styling Hunter Rain Boots

Hello Everyone! So it has been rainy here in Georgia (if you follow me on Instagram you know that I'm up here on a work trip) I keep my rain boots in my car because back home in Florida a shower can pop up out of the blue and I'm normally always in sandals. So, I just swap out my sandals for my rain boots.  Well, apparently it rains a lot here in Georgia too. So I'm glad that I brought them with me. I also picked up this pullover on sale at a Lilly signature store here in Georgia on my last trip; it has been quite chilly too. I loooove the thumb holes because it keeps my hands warm. And the print is so fun too; I love the giraffe in this print. I will link my exact Hunter boots here for you.  Hunter brought back the purple color in two shades that what I wanted originally but they were sold out. Now the decision is which shade of purple do I want to buy to go with all of my new purple Lilly clothes!

My Favorite Healthy Snacks while Traveling

Hi Friends! Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll be traveling again for work this weekend and I'm packing my favorite foods. Some I have been eating for a while; some I just discovered and wanted to share with you. First off, I drink a lot of water, so that was a must. And I love Angie's Boom Chicka Pop popcorn they have a variety of flavors including some holiday flavors that are delicious. This one is one of my favorite flavors. This beet orange juice is also delicious made with Florida oranges which made me an instant fan. I love the regular orange juice as well as the strawberry lemonade. Delish!

I also tried out a new breakfast item. This strawberry overnight oats are my new favorite for on the go travel days and it tastes yummy too. When I'm home I normally eat a nice bowl of greek yogurt for protein, granola, honey, and fruit. This breakfast item actually has greek yogurt so it was perfect. I have to have a lot of protein in the morning. Also, some of my favorite snacks are nuts. They are a good source of protein.

All of the non-perishable snacks I put in my new Lilly Palm Beach zip-up tote so that everything is nice and safe. I love this print. I picked it up last week and the Lilly team said that it's not even on the website yet, so its very possible I'm the only person with this bag. LOL. They have it in a different print. The print name is "Postcards from Positano." I'll link the one on the website here for you to check out. I love the zipper because I can secure my items and they won't fall out. Last but not least my favorite fall drink at the moment is apple cider latte. Its the perfect on the road drink. It gives me all of the Happy Vibes.

Blush Pink Blazer

I had been eyeing this blush pink blazer from H&M since it came out. It truly is the perfect feminine, chic, and classy blazer. I love the runch sleeve details. And it can be styled casually as well. Unfortunately, its sold out but I linked a similar one here. I wore it to a business seminar/class with my favorite nude heel and a white lace dress; for a feminine and classy look.

Thank you for stopping by!

A beautiful day in St.Augustine

I had the most wonderful day in St.Augustine. The weather could not have been more perfect, it was clear and breezy and the perfect temperature before staying outside all day. I arrived at the beach in time enough to see the sunrise and shining brightly.  Afterward, I took a long stroll to meditate and relax mentally and to just look at the water and not rush. I like to collect shells. so I did a little shell collecting and took my sweet little time. There's this coffee shop right across from the beach, they also have two other locations, called Kookaburra they have the best coffee so far that I have found in St. Augustine. I went to the location on Cathedral street by Flagler college. I highly recommend the honey badger with cinnamon (my favorite) honey obviously and vanilla. It's pure deliciousness. Most of the time I relaxed and of course took pictures because I love photography. I actually had someone asked me if was a photographer. LOL. Today was so beautiful and feel so blessed to live in such a gorgeous state. Below are just some photos that I took along the way in one of my favorite maxi dresses that I bought last year from Dillard's I always and did compliments on the dress. The navy background compliments the brightly colored floral print. I hope that you enjoy the pictures.

The oldest wooden school.
A friendly midday reminder for myself.
Goodnight!
