End of Summer Print Mixing

Hi Friends, As we get ready to wind down the Summer season and all things fall start appearing everywhere. I wanted to show you how to bring a little late summer florals into your fall outfits as well as do a little print mixing with a little fall inspiration.

 I love wearing florals and I was recently gifted, from Sarah Flint, a beautiful floral scarf that was exclusively hand-painted for Sarah Flint. The Blooming Petal Silk scarf comes in 2 sizes. I have a smaller size and styled it a few different ways to show how versatile it is. I also styled it with two fun prints my navy and cream striped dress and leopard pumps also from Sarah Flint. These prints work so well together the scarf has beautiful blues, creams, greens, and pops of Rosey pinks which pair well with the navy and cream striped maxi. The leopard pumps serve as a great neutral because Leopard is a neutral in my book.

The scarf is styled as an accent for my handbag; mix a little summer bag with fall florals. 

I wore the scarf here as a scarf for my hair and loved it. It took my top knot to a whole new level.

I styled it here on my wrist to accent the whole outfit.

I'm so excited for the temperatures to drop just a bit and to wear some layers. Fall is my favorite there's just something so cozy about it. Are you as excited for too?

Duffield Lane Favorites

Hi Friends! Tonight I wanted to share with you one of my favorite brands that I've had the pleasure of collaborating with for the majority of the year, Duffield Lane. This white vest is the best quality ever. It's lighter weight denim but great fabric and quality! I love the gold details and gold zipper annnnddd it has pockets!😍 This piece can be worn in Winter layered with a sweater. That is how I wore mine this past winter.

Home Scents

Hi Friends! It is no secret that I love candles anything that smells good for my home. I rounded up my favorite candle scents and essential oils for your essential oil diffuser to create a cozy environment.

This candle doesn't ship until September but it perfect for the coming fall season - all things pumpkin! It's from Volcano and can be found here. This candle from Voluspa is a great transitioning candle and I have it and it smells soooo good. These two from Bath and Body Works are my favorites; I just finished burning the Leaves candle. I feel like Leaves is a classic Fall scent. The cranberry woods candle is also a good one and I feel it would make a great gift and crowd-pleaser. Also, another crowd-pleaser is the Capri Blue candle in the Volcano scent. This Jo Malone candle is currently on sale it has a sophisticated, warm floral scent. Here's is a more citrus and earthy scent.

Now for essential oils- I have recently fallen in love with Essential oils. I love my Essential oil diffuser. I have found that I use these oils most often and I love them. These two are also on sale here and here. I also love this citrus scent. Citrus is my personal all-time scent.

Now on to candle accessories, to extend the life of your candle and to keep your candles burning nicely, I highly recommend, I mean highly recommend this candle wick trimmer. It's a great accessory and makes a great gift too. Also, this candle snuffer is a great buy as well.

Lastly, My sister told me about this USB candle lighter. And OH MY I'm so pumped about this item. Not only is it environmentally friendly, but it is just such a great concept and all you have to do is charge it up. It comes in 4 colors. Gold for me please🙋.

Cozy Saturday

Good Morning Friends! Oh, how I love Saturday; it is my favorite day of the week because I get to sleep in and stay cozy. Speaking of cozy, I recently got the coziest and softest robe ever! I just can't take it off so I'm going to stay in it until I just have to leave the house. But this robe is from a local boutique, Agapanthus,  and the robe brand is Faceplant.  They not only have the robe but other PJ accompaniments, like the softest, night tank shirt, tops and bottoms, and come in other colors. My favorite fact about the robe is that it is made from a special bamboo blend, yes! Bamboo! It's also moisture-wicking, so it's perfect if you tend to sweat a during the night. It is also anti-microbial, Thermo-regulating, and has UV protection. I love this robe so much and want it in all of the colors as well as the rest of the PJ sets. Hi Friends! You know that no white after Labor Day rule? Well, I've never been really good at following that rule so I gave up and decided to break it altogether.😆 Being a Floridian where it is warm 97% of the year; wearing white all year just makes sense to keep cool. Plus it looks so chic which I'm all about. Classic Black and Leopard

Happy Wednesday Friends! I wanted to share my latest obsession, this beautiful, flowy, black shirt dress. It is the perfect dress to transition into fall, but you can still wear it now for a nice dinner out. I paired my dress with these gorgeous, chocolate, calf hair, leopard pumps. 

The dress is true to size and only $19.99 and has a drop waist and buttons halfway down. The drop waist hits perfectly on me, as I have a longer torso.

Late Summer Style

Hi Friends,  As we start approaching fall in the next few weeks; I still want to bring you some inspiring Summer style. My latest Lilly purchase is this beautiful flowy maxi skirt in this beautiful shade of blue. I paired this skirt with a boatneck Painter's Tee from J.Crew. This Tee is my favorites, I tied mine in the front for a chic style and to show off the detail in the waistband of this maxi skirt. I'm wearing my normal size and the length is perfect on my average height.
