Purple Lightweight sweater

Hi There!

As the days stay a little bit lighter everyday, the trees start to turn that bright green with new leaves, and all of the colorful flower buds start peeking out. I'm starting to put away all of my heavy clothing and pull out my lightweight and colorful sweaters. My favorite color in the world is purple; so when I saw that one of my favorite Brands came out with a dark purple sweater, I knew that I had to have it! The weather right now is so perfect, it's not too hot or too cold. So lightweight sweaters are totally what I've been wearing of late. I paired my sweater with my favorite dark purple satin slides (from a couple years ago, so no longer available and my favorite ivory maxi skirt.  There are very few sizes left so if you'd like one, RUN! Bohemian Picnic- Small Business spotlight

 Hi There!

So as promised, I wanted to share with you all a new small business in Central Florida that I’m loving. Earlier this month I won a luxury picnic spot on Instagram and I was so excited because I’m usually hosting giveaways and almost never a recipient of a giveaway. So,Over the weekend, my sister and I had a luxurious picnic on the most beautiful day, by the water at the park. The picnic was done by  Brittany of Pretty Little Gatherings; and my oh my, was it a pretty little gathering. My sister and I had the best time talking and enjoying the fresh air along with all of the accompaniments that the picnic had to offer. Equestrian Style

Hi Friends! Fun Fact- I used to ride horses when I was a teenager which is no surprise since I'm a 5th generation native to the Horse Capital.🐎 So when Ronner Design reached out, I was so excited! If you are a horse lover, you definitely should check out Ronner Design they have the most beautiful Equestrian pieces from Tops, sweaters, shoes, and of course dresses- which are right up my alley! This style is a button down shirt maxi dress called the Cordelia and it is stunning. The navy and white stripe paired with the red and navy horse embroidery at the very bottom is just superb. So much attention to detail went into this dress. It does run true to size, so if you are planning to order keep that in mind. 

My dress came in this beautiful printed clutch style bag that can be used as a hand bag or for treats for your horses. This big guy was definitely in search of some treats. Horses are definitely such beautiful animals.

Selfless

 Hello and Thank you so much for stopping by!

I’ve been thinking about one of my goals that I set for last year- yes, I am thinking about last year, when most of us are trying to forget last year. Anyway, one of my goals for last year was to be more generous, selfless, thinking of others more than myself. And then WAM!!! Covid shows up on the scene and everything turns crazy and I go from having the best intentions to worrying over the spring about my mom and my job- if we were going to even be employed! Such a scary feeling and so humbling, which makes me forever grateful to God for my career EVERY SINGLE DAY🙏🏾 Thank you sweet Jesus! 

My whole point for bringing up Covid- which I hate bringing up- was that my goal pre-Covid was to think about others more and less about my self .Selfless. I want to refocus on that goal by starting right now and thinking more of others and less of my feelings and my wants and what makes me happy. And start focusing on how I can bring joy to someone else’s day. I’ve had some close friends who have needed that extra joy in their life- so right now I’m taking the opportunity to give to someone else. 

One of my favorite ways to give is through flowers🌸 I’ve made these small individual arrangements to give out as a small act of selflessness. 

Of course the best Selfless act was from Jesus and that can never be outdone.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

I truly hope that this blogpost encourages you to follow suit and be selfless.

Monochrome outfit

 Hi Friends! I hope that you are having a great day so far. With the winter season still among us - some experiencing much colder temperatures than us here in the south. I thought it'd be great to share a cozy yet chic all white outfit. I love wearing all white; winter whites are my favorite. I recently picked up this beautiful super soft yarn sweater and it is so soft, great for either work or lounging like I chose to wear it. It does have some beautiful gold details and its longer in the back to cover your bottom. I paired it with my favorite white maxi skirt and my platinum slides which I wear all of the time and they are very comfortable too! Needless to say, this is the ultimate chic, cozy and most relaxing outfit for a day walking along the beach or curling up with a good book. This sweater will definitely be on repeat.

Glimpse of Spring

 Happy Friday Eve Friends! There are so many signs of spring in my yard and neighborhood. I'm also bringing out favorite spring wardrobe pieces like dresses, sandals and pretty pastels. I'm a huge Dress and sandal wearer, that's usually what I stick to during warmer months which is almost year round. I was recently gifted these Super cute cork sandals from Jack Rogers. And I'm Loving these sandals and have been wearing them non stop since receiving them. They truly are so comfortable and the price is so amazing under $100. I'm a true Jack Rogers fan and have a pretty platinum sandal as well. I also love the Cork because its a fun texture to a classic style shoe and it matches everything.

Cauliflower appetizer

Hi Friends! Here's yet another delicious recipe that I wanted to share with you.

Preheat oven on 375 degrees

Ingredients:

One head of cauliflower cut into bite size pieces. 

Toss in oil of your preference or melted butter. I tossed mine in avocado oil.

season with salt and pepper

Grate cheese- Parmesan cheese.

Lay out cauliflower on a baking pan and roast until a little soft and then take out of oven and spread the parmesan over the cauliflower and put back in the oven for another 10 minutes.

Take out of the oven and enjoy once it's warm enough to eat!

Kombucha Cha Cha Cha

 Happy Sunday Friends! For those of you who are not interested in the Super Bowl 😬 yep, I admit it! I am not a football fan, it’s just not my thing. Tennis, that’s a whole different topic for another time- I love tennis. 

Anyways, I do love some good food and tasty drinks that come with these kinds of festivities! Speaking of, let’s talk delicious drinks that are not only delicious, but good for the gut! That’s kombucha- Big Easy  kombucha brand recently reached out for me to try their new pineapple  Tepache which is so delicious by the way. It’s a sparkling probiotic/prebiotic drink made from fermented pineapple. Number one, I love supporting a company that makes a great product and I truly love. And number two you totally should try their Kombucha and Tepache. I have tried their strawberry kombucha a while ago and if you know me really well, you know that I absolutely love strawberry. Big Easy also have the Immunity shots as well. 

I personally drink a lot of kombucha because I have some stomach sensitivities and it really relaxes my stomach.

Colors of Spring

 Hello on this beautiful Thursday! The sun is shining, the air is crisp, and my soul is so happy with this weather. Although, there is some pollen out so my my poor nose is not liking that part-lol😆 But anyway, with the coming spring season, comes pollen and beautiful colorful clothing pieces and home pieces. I'll take the color any day! I love color-in case you couldn't tell.
